No, no me he estado haciendo wey en todo este tiempo que no he posteado. Primero, algunos se habrán dado cuenta y otros no pero ya fue actualizado varias veces vBulletin, vamos en la versión 3.6.4, no hay realmente funciones nuevas, mas que nada han sido actualizaciones de seguridad criticas y medias, y los típicos bugfixes menores. No ha habido problemas con los mods existentes, y probablemente en estos días actualice el software de la galería, al parecer hay un par de funciones nuevas.

Segundo, se habrán dado cuenta que ya no tenemos ad's. Deuterio.net es ahora una comunidad ad-free :boogie:, y no, no me suspendieron la cuenta de publicidad ;), simplemente decidí que era lo mejor para la comunidad y finalmente no era ninguna ayuda para el sitio, ni siquiera pa pagar el hosting, asi que pa' qué los dejo.

Tercero, nuevamente he editado y simplificado los términos de servicio, por lo visto la anterior versión levanto ámpulas en lugares no muy confortables, así que pueden ver la nueva versión por aquí (http://www.deuterio.net/announcement.php?f=18&a=5). Para complementar esto, he modificado la advertencia para los nuevos usuarios (pueden hacer logout para verla) para indicar que esta es una comunidad que adopta abiertamente temas controversiales y debemos ser considerados "políticamente incorrectos", y al que no le parezca, pos hay muchas otras comunidades donde sus sensibles sentimientos no sean ofendidos.

Cuarto, he estado levantando un nuevo sitio personal, es un blog informativo y de discusión acerca de uno de mis temas favoritos, Guild Wars, algunos recordarán que tenía pensado levantar otro sitio de foros, dedicados a las comunidades de MMO's, pero finalmente no tuve la respuesta que esperaba para comenzar a levantar este proyecto así que decidí comenzar este otro. Así que a los que les interese leer y comentar mis elucubraciones sobre Guild Wars pueden dirigirse a ExInstance: La vida en el mundo de Guild Wars (http://www.exinstance.com).

Quinto, esperen más cambios en Deuterio.net... algún día, más temprano que tarde ;)

Third, I've modified and simplified the Terms of service once more, the previous version created an uncomfortable rash for some people, so here it is the new version (http://www.deuterio.net/announcement.php?f=18&a=6). To go with this, I've also modified the warning for guest and new users (you can logout to see it) to indicate that this is a community that embraces controversial topics, and we must be considered "politically incorrect", and for those who might not like it, there are plenty other communities where your sensible feelings won't be offended.

Fourth, I've been working in a new personal site, it's an informative and discussion-oriented blog about one of my favorite topics, Guild Wars (spanish only for now, sorry), some of you might know that I was trying to create a new forums site for the MMO's communities in spanish, but there was less than stellar response for it so I went for this other project instead. So those of you who might want to read and comment my rants and raves about this game (and who can of course understand spanish, again, sorry, maybe some day I'll be able to do it a bilingual site too), you can go to ExInstance: Life on the Guild Wars world (http://www.exinstance.com).

Fifth, there are more incoming changes for Deuterio.net... someday, more sooner than late ;)

It's not that bad actually, there hasn't been any need to upgrade our hosting package or even to change to a private server, which is common for forums that start to get really busy. Our server loads and processor time are really low right now, our monthly bandwidth it's well below the limit, even if we start to get some more visitors, since we don't have too many users online at the same time. So right now I don't have any problem with the monthly cost. If ever needed, I already have some plans to help with some increased upkeep ;).

About the rashes, I think they will blame anything these days...

Tal y como fue previamente anunciado, se actualizó el software de la galería, dos nuevas funciones, uno, ahora tienen en la parte de los resultados de busqueda del foro (por ej. al hacer click en "nuevos mensajes (http://www.deuterio.net/search.php?do=getnew)") un listado con los uploads y los comentarios de la galería más recientes. También hay una mejorada función de "slideshow (http://www.deuterio.net/photoplog/slideshow.php)" que a algunos les va a llamar la atención, en especial para ver las babes ;). Saludos.

As it was previously announced, the gallery software was upgraded, with two new functions, first, now you have a listing with the newest uploads and comments from the gallery in the forums search result page (like when you click on "new posts (http://www.deuterio.net/search.php?do=getnew)"). There is also an improved slideshow (http://www.deuterio.net/photoplog/slideshow.php) feature, that I know will open some eyes, especially if you use it to look at the babes ;). Greetings.
